Skydrop customizes watering based on current local weather to make sure your lawn and garden get exactly the water they need, across each unique zone.
Skydrop’s watering technology connects to your home through wifi, monitors local weather stations in your neighborhood every hour for real-time weather information for your lawn. Skydrop knows when it rains and adjusts accordingly. Monitor and manage watering from your computer, smartphone or tablet, or from the controller itself.

Z-Wave Water Sensor
The Aeon labs water sensor is a battery-powered Z-Wave water sensor with an extremely small form factor. The water sensor will send radio signals up to 5 associated Z-Wave devices within its own Z-Wave network when the water probe detects water. Bidirectional mounting plate and push button allows for easy end-user installation. Capable of detecting both the absence and presence of water at measurements as small as 0.03% of an inch.
If there is ever a water leak detected in your home you will be alerted right away. The sensor can also be programmed to trigger the smart water shut off valve shown below. Worst case scenario, you’re miles away and a pipe bursts. No problem! Your are notified and your water is turned off.
EcoNet Water Shut Off Controller
Set up includes water sensors and be configured to send a “water leak” notification to the home owner’s Smartphone and automatically shut off the water, preventing damage and expensive home insurance claims. Any computer or smart phone can be used to control, manage and configure this Z-Wave Plus certified device, from anywhere internet access is available.
Although the device only requires 12V DC (1A) input, it has been mechanically geared with high torque and power to easily manage standard levered ball valves. The close and open cycle is a 90 degree turn that takes about 10 seconds. A clutch release allows hand operation of the valve in case of a power loss. The open/close stoke can also be controlled manually with the power/pairing button. A blue LED acts as a status and “condition” indicator.
The EBV105-UMK package comes complete with the valve controller/motor, AC Adapter, the Universal Mounting Kit and quick user and installation guide. Installation takes 5-10 minutes and no special tools or skills are required.
