Auto-schedule means you turn it up or down. Nest learns the temperatures you like and then programs itself. Auto-away means Nest adjusts the temperature after you leave so you don’t heat or cool your home when nobody is there.

You also have the option to look at your energy history. You can make adjustments if necessary based on this valuable information. If you see the Nest Leaf you know your are saving energy.
